Martyrs: 113 million dinars as a real estate grant and housing allowance for those included

The total number of families of the martyrs and wounded of the Popular Mobilization Forces, who received the monetary unit allowance and the real estate grant during the past five years, is five thousand.
This was stated by "Al-Sabah", Director General of the Martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces in the Martyrs Foundation, Tariq Al-Mandalawi, adding that the number of those covered by the Foundation's Law No. 2 of 2016 among the families of the martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces is nine thousand and 818 martyrs, in addition to 26 thousand wounded with different injuries. He mentioned that the real estate grant amounted to 83 million dinars, while the value of the cash allowance for the housing unit was 30 million dinars, noting that the process of distributing these amounts stopped during the current year, but it will be resumed again after the approval of the budget and the release of the amounts allocated to it.
Al-Mandalawi explained that the amounts were distributed among the beneficiaries within the regions and places in which the martyrs could not obtain a piece of land or suitable housing, noting that the process of distributing lands and allocating housing units in some residential complexes continues in Baghdad and the provinces after obtaining support from the Foundation and in coordination with the government agencies that own the lands. as well as municipal departments.
