On Sunday, Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani directed the reduction and unification of financial fees for organizing agencies and simplifying procedures for citizens.
The ministry stated in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that “Shawani conducted, today, Sunday, a field visit to the notary department in Karkh Al-Sabahi, to see the reality of work and find out its most important needs, in a way that contributes to facilitating the work of all judicial departments. To the requests of citizens, which comes in the context of government directives to provide the appropriate atmosphere for work, which would provide the best services to them.
The minister instructed, to "simplify procedures and provide facilities for citizens when they refer to the judicial departments."
He also directed, to "reduce and unify the financial fees for organizing agencies when they review the departments of notaries," explaining that "all financial instructions for organizing agencies will be unified."
Shawani stressed, "This visit came as part of a series of previous visits to the justice departments in Baghdad and the provinces to listen to the demands and problems of citizens and work to solve and overcome them, and that the Ministry of Justice is working diligently to implement the ministerial program by providing the best services to citizens."
