the advisor to the Prime Minister and head of the government services team, Qassem Al-Zalmi, explained today, Sunday, the tasks of the government team, pointing to the preparation of a new mechanism with more capabilities and powers to facilitate the affairs of citizens in government institutions, while revealing the number of outstanding problems that 3 regions suffer from, stressing Solve half of it.
Al-Zalimi said, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani cared about citizens' affairs at all levels and made them a priority in his government program, and as a result, attention was paid to the Citizens Affairs Office by preparing a mechanism different from its predecessors and developing it with capabilities and powers from more than one side in approaching ministries, governorates and agencies. Not associated with a ministry to facilitate the affairs and belongings of citizens.
He pointed out, "Al-Sudani directed that the response of the ministries, governorates, and bodies not associated with a ministry to the Citizens' Affairs Office in the Prime Minister's office be one of the important criteria in evaluating the institution's work."
He added, "The Prime Minister follows up the affairs of citizens himself, and most of the procedures are under his guidance, and as a result, the institutions and sectoral authorities related to the request are approached and circulars and directives are issued, provided that within 24 hours the letter is issued to the sectoral authority, to resolve the citizen's request and the answer from the sectoral authority within 72 hours." He explained, "The service team seeks the assistance of whomever it deems appropriate to accomplish its assigned tasks within the geographical area in the district or district to which it is delegated, and after hearing the people's demands and the end of the meeting directly, a formal session is held with the general managers to find quick and urgent solutions through which we cross the bureaucracy in the departments."

He noted that "the service team began its work on Wednesday 3/22/2023 with a visit to the Al-Shaab region, and on Sunday 3/26/2023 it was the visit of Al-Rasheed, and on Wednesday 3/29/2023 a visit to New Baghdad, and we have a schedule in the areas that we will visit under the criteria of the neediest And diagnosed by us and according to what we received from the citizens’ problems.”
He pointed out, "No budget has been allocated to the government team so far, as the existing effort is governmental and institutional under the guidance of the Prime Minister to end the suffering of citizens, and if matters arise that need to allocate a budget, it will be under the guidance of the Sudanese."
