    The Kurdistan Democratic Party, headed by Massoud Barzani, separated the contentious points in the draft general budget law for the year 2023. The

    party's representative, Majid Shankali, stated, in a press interview, that "the Presidency of Parliament sent the budget law to the Finance Committee for the purpose of discussing it. .

    He added, "The budget presented by the Sudanese government enjoys political and parliamentary support," noting that "the point of contention lies in passing it for a period of one year or a tripartite budget for three years."

    He pointed out that "Parliament, in the next few days, will discuss the draft budget by hosting experts,



    The Parliament's rapporteur, Baida Khader Al-Salman, denied earlier the talk about the “procrastination” of the members of the House of Representatives in holding a session to discuss the general budget law for the year 2023, indicating that the members of the House have not seen it yet.[/rtl]
