Today, Thursday, the President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Rashid, stressed the importance of advancing the reality of the capital, Baghdad, by supporting the necessary investment projects.
A statement from the Office of the President of the Republic, received by (Baghdad Today), stated that "President Rashid received today, at the Baghdad Palace, the head of the Baghdad Investment Commission, Ali Al-Waeli."
Rashid pointed out, according to the statement, to "the importance of advancing the reality of the capital, Baghdad, by supporting the necessary investment projects that are directly related to the requirements of citizens and commensurate with the population expansion in it, in addition to supporting the private sector by providing facilities and enacting the necessary laws in this regard."
For his part, the head of the Baghdad Investment Commission appreciated the directives of the President of the Republic, reviewing the investment plans and projects underway in Baghdad, as well as future plans to develop the capital and serve its residents.
