Today, Sunday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, discussed with members of the Strategic Planning and Federal Service Committee in the House of Representatives the government's plans to implement the priorities of its program.
A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office, received by (Baghdad Today), said, "The meeting discussed the government's prepared plans for implementing its government program, and the most important priorities set aimed at providing the best services to citizens and working hard to achieve economic reform as a first step towards comprehensive reforms in the structure of the state."
The statement added, "The meeting also witnessed deliberations regarding the draft law of the three-year general budget, and its necessity for future planning and revitalization of the private sector, as well as in implementing strategic projects and completing delays in them."
The statement emphasized "the importance of cooperation and coordination between the executive and legislative authorities in order to achieve work integration and achieve sustainable development goals," noting "the importance of activating the oversight role in order to evaluate the government's work, enable it to improve its performance in serving the citizen, and support its efforts in fighting corruption."
