Environment and the World Health Organization:
a new partnership to preserve public health and the environment
The Ministry of Environment and the World Health Organization agreed to activate a joint cooperative work program to preserve the health and environment of the Iraqi citizen.
This was discussed during the meeting of the Minister of Environment, Eng. Nizar Amidi, with the Director of the World Health Organization, Ahmed Zweni, and the preparation of a draft understanding and building a strong partnership between the Ministry of Environment and the organization, in the presence of the technical deputy in the ministry, Dr. Jassim Al-Falahi, Director General of the Awareness and Media Department, Amir Ali Al-Hassoun, and Director-General of the Planning Department, Bushra Ali Ahmed.
