The researcher in economic affairs, Rami Jawad, raised a question about the aspects of justice and equality among Iraqis stipulated in the constitution, revealing that there are more than 300,000 citizens who receive multiple salaries according to the law.
Jawad said in an article he published on the Iraqi Economists platform on the Facebook site, which was followed by (Baghdad Today), that "the number of double salaries (those who receive two to five salaries) amounted to more than (300) thousand citizens, according to an official statement by a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee." Present".
Jawad added, "The law allows them to combine the job salary, the salary of social care, the salary of a political prisoner, the salary of the wounded, the salary of the families of the martyrs and the missing, the salary of those covered by special laws such as Rafha prisoners, jihadi service, political separation, the salary of membership of local and municipal councils, membership of the House of Representatives or the provincial council, and any other pension salary." ".
The researcher in economic affairs indicated that "the rate of one salary ranges between (800) thousand (the minimum) to (5) million dinars per month," noting that "their total salaries are estimated between (3-3.5) trillion dinars annually, and they acquire (5) percent of the total salary in the country.
