On Sunday, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, confirmed that we are doing our best to establish political stability in Kurdistan and Iraq.
This came while he was participating in a collective breakfast banquet, with merchants and artisans, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, Erbil.
After welcoming the guests, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, said, "Allow me, on behalf of all of you, to extend my thanks to the heroic Peshmerga forces, thanks to whose sacrifices we can live in safety and stability, and to gather together in this place."
"We bow to the sacrifices of all the martyrs and their struggling families, and we owe them all," he added.
"We have always done everything in our power to provide you with the best services," he said, adding, "On the other hand, our enemies did everything they could to prevent us from achieving our goals."
And he stressed that "what causes pride and pride is that Kurdistan has become a safe haven not only for the residents of the region, but also for the residents of the rest of Iraq who go to the Kurdistan Region."
He explained that "the Kurdistan Region has become a place for peaceful coexistence between different religions and nationalities," noting that "it is a matter of pride, and you should also be proud of yourselves, because you were able to make Kurdistan a place for others to visit."
On the political issue, the Prime Minister of Kurdistan said, "We are doing our best to establish political stability in Kurdistan and Iraq."
He added, "We have always called for unity with every national party whose goal is to protect the Kurdistan Region, and believes in serving the citizens of the region, and believes that together we can serve all classes of society and religions, and confront corruption."
"But we cannot participate in treason, corruption, terrorizing people and exploiting their needs," he added.
On the economic level, Masrour Barzani said, "Praise be to God, day after day our hope increases that the Kurdistan Region is heading towards a brighter future. We have a stable region, and it will become more stable."
On the Erbil-Baghdad agreement, the Prime Minister of Kurdistan said, "We have done everything we can with the federal government to solve the outstanding problems between us," adding, "Now we have reached the final stages of the agreement that we recently signed with Iraq."
And he added, "I hope that the agreement will be a catalyst for you economically, and I know that most of the changes and economic impacts are reflected in your work, so we are doing everything we can to improve the economic situation in the Kurdistan Region.
