The Kurdistan Democratic Party confirmed, on Monday, that most of the observations submitted about the budget relate to governorate allocations, while noting that Iraq's imports are able to cover the deficit, and announced its support for passing the budget.
The party's representative, Sharif Suleiman, said, "Many observations and proposals were made regarding the budget, and they will be carefully studied after the Eid holiday," noting that "most of the observations call for increasing governorate allocations and raising the value of the amounts allocated to the regional development budget."
He added, "Iraq's imports are able to cover the current budget deficit," noting that "if the deficit is reasonable, there is no danger."
And he continued, "The region's share and the entitlements of the Peshmerga and the region's employees have been confirmed," explaining that "the Democratic Party supports passing the budget as quickly as possible."
And he stressed the need to "leave the stage of disagreements that do not work or benefit," pointing out that "the observations and reservations regarding the budget did not reach the level of disagreements." Ended 29 / H
