Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani directed, Thursday, the allocation of a private plane to transport the Iraqi cultural delegation participating in the Tunis International Book Fair.
A statement by Al-Sudani's office, received by Mawazine News, stated that this comes "in support of the Iraqi cultural and creative presence in international forums."
The statement added, "The Iraqi participation will hold the status of guest of honor for the first time in this Arab and international cultural event, and the participating Iraqi delegation includes a large number of Iraqi intellectuals, writers and writers."
He continued, "This support for Iraqi participation comes as an affirmation of the government's approach to paying attention to the cultural movement and the Iraqi creative production, providing reasons for communication for it, and enabling it to represent Iraq's bright image to the world."
