The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, on Friday, the establishment of an organized schedule to discuss the draft budget law with the government, while stressing its support.
Committee member Representative Mustafa Al-Karawi said, "The committee has developed a plan and an organized schedule to host the government and the authorities concerned with the budget law," pointing out that "The committee will intensify its meetings to resolve the budget file as soon as possible in Parliament."
Al-Karawi stressed the need to make an adjustment to the volume of spending in the budget in general, which would directly affect the deficit rate, given that the less spending, the smaller the deficit, according to what he said.
Regarding the new salary scale, Al-Karaawi indicated that "the cabinet and the committee assigned under Diwaniya Order 24 are concerned with the file of the new employee salary scale," noting that "most members of the House of Representatives agree to amend the salary scale on the grounds that it is supposed to achieve social justice and reduce the differences between Ministries, and contribute to stopping migration from ministries with little allocation to high allocation.” Ended 29 / h
