    Baghdad today - Baghdad
    The Prime Minister, Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, announced the signing of the first batch of contracts with the German company Siemens and preparations for signing the second batch of them.
    A statement from the Prime Minister's Office, received by (Baghdad Today), stated that Al-Sudani "received, today, Sunday, a German government delegation that included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Cooperation and Development, Jochen Flaspart, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Werner Caster."
    The two sides discussed "strengthening relations between Iraq and Germany, and the best way to activate partnership agreements, in accordance with the interests of the two friendly countries, and the Iraqi-German action program in all fields."
     The Prime Minister blessed "the opening of the Iraqi-German Center for Employment, Immigration and Reintegration," stressing "Iraq's determination to develop bilateral relations and expand the agreement between the two countries."
    Al-Sudani referred to "the signing of the first batch of contracts with Siemens, Germany, and preparations for signing the second batch of them," pointing to "the progress of cooperation in the fields of health, the environment, and climate change solutions."
    For their part, the two German officials confirmed their government's readiness to cooperate with Iraq, within the framework of creating job opportunities for youth, confronting climate change and the health sector.
