Shafaq News/ The Turkish Statistics Authority announced, on Tuesday, that Turkey's exports to Iraq during the first quarter of this year 2023 amounted to 2.7 billion dollars.
The authority said in its official statistics, seen by Shafaq News agency, that "the volume of Turkish exports to Iraq during the months of January, February and March of the year 2023 amounted to 2.710.179 billion dollars, of which 866.808 million dollars were exports for the month of January and 731.758 million were exports for the month of February, and 1. 112.202 billion dollars exports for the month of March.
And she added, "Turkey's exports to Iraq during the first quarter of this year, amounting to 2.710.179 billion dollars, decreased by 12.3% compared to the first quarter of last year 2022," noting that "these exports represent 4.4% of Turkey's exports to the world."
Iraq imports most of its needs of goods and commodities from neighboring countries, especially Turkey and Iran, in addition to importing it from China, which is the largest exporter of commodities and commodities in the world.
