Mr. Jamal al-Din al-Shahristani said in an interview singled out by the administration official website that the administration of the threshold of the Holy sent a formal invitation to the owners of the Bank of Lebanon, which is considered one of the banks that have an asset internationally in a number of countries in the world to visit the holy city of Karbala and see the reality of economic and display the request to open a branch of the bank in the holy city , indicating that the invitation had been extended at the direction of the secretary-general of the threshold Hosseinieh holy Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai.
Shahristani said that the Lebanese Bank has an asset internationally can be invested to connect Karbala economically to the outside world and take advantage of the facilities provided by the bank, including the credit system, the sale of cars and buy houses and hotels, whether inside or outside Iraq, in addition to the benefit of the bank in supporting card (Visa Card) card support (Ironing Card) and ATM and other service facilities that serve the city and its children.
He said al-Shahristani said the bank opened a branch by a few days in Baghdad and has approvals fundamentalist to open a branch in other provinces, indicating that the role of the Holy Shrine is limited to providing a helping hand in order to serve the city, explaining that the representatives of the Lebanese Bank in Iraq showed their willingness to open a branch in the holy city of Karbala in collaboration with the threshold Hosseinieh holy to serve the city and its people and its visitors.
