Today, Monday, the head of the National Retirement Authority, Maher Al-Bayati, announced the completion of a study to increase the salaries of retirees.
Al-Bayati said in a statement to the official news agency, "The study on increasing the salaries of retirees has been completed and submitted to the competent authorities to take a decision on it."
He pointed out, "There are serious discussions with parliament about the budget of the retirement authority and salary increase," adding that "the authority is awaiting a decision to increase salaries."
