Inauguration of a factory for the production of building materials powered by robots

Yesterday, Monday, the Basra Investment Commission inaugurated the first robot-powered factory for the production of building materials.
"The factory operates with robots to produce high-performance adhesives and fluids in the construction industry at a cost of $12 million in the Zubair district, south of Basra," a statement by the authority said, describing the move as "a major achievement for the Iraqi construction industry."
The statement quoted the head of the Basra Investment Commission, Alaa Abdul Hussein Salman, as saying, "The factory produces 16 different types of materials, with an annual production capacity of more than 400,000 tons annually of adhesives and liquids that comply with international standards."
