    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Under the title "Chinese obsession", economist Nabil Al-Marsoumi hinted today, Friday, of the need not to rely on China for everything, especially strategic projects, because Chinese companies may withdraw at any moment, just hours before the government announced the launch of the "development path."
Al-Marsoumi said in a clarification received by "Baghdad Today", that " two years ago, the strategic Al-Faw refinery, with a capacity of 300,000 barrels per day, was transferred to a Chinese company, then it withdrew from it, and the Mansouriya gas field was transferred to a Chinese company, and it withdrew from it."
Al-Marsoumi justified this by saying that "China, like other countries, operates according to well-known commercial and economic standards, and the most important one believes that China can do anything for free, even if it is the Silk Road."
Tomorrow, Saturday, Baghdad is preparing to host the Development Road Conference, with the participation of transport ministers from 10 countries, to announce the launch of the road from Faw to Turkey and then to Europe.
