    The Ministry of Transport confirmed, on Saturday, that the infrastructure of the Development Road project will be sovereign, noting that the project will provide more than 100,000 job opportunities for Iraqi youth.

    A spokesman for the Ministry of Transport, Shatha Radhi, said, "The Development Road Project Conference is being held under the auspices of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani and under the direct supervision of the Minister of Transport to officially announce the Development Road Project," pointing out that "this vital, strategic and promising project will link the East with the West and link Iraq's ports with Turkish ports, as well as to European countries, and from there to the Caucasus countries.

    Rady added, "This project will consist of two double lines, a railway line and a fast international land line, and on the two lines there will be an economic movement that will revive the economy of the governorates it passes through, which are approximately more than 10 governorates, in addition to industrial and residential cities and entertainment areas," indicating that "the project will provide More than 100,000 job opportunities for Iraqi youth, and this number may increase during the completion of this road in full.

    She explained, "The conference that will be held today aims to know the seriousness of the countries present to participate in this vital project," stressing that "the doors of the Ministry of Transport are open to all international companies to invest in Iraq."

    And she stressed that "the infrastructure of the project will be sovereign and Iraq is working on it, but the rest of the projects, such as buying trains and others, will be opened to companies and countries participating in the conference," according to the official agency. Ended 29/N33
