    [rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, announced work to establish a "Riyada" bank for social development to support youth.

    In his speech at the Iraqi banking conference, which was attended by the National Iraqi News Agency ( NINA ), he said: "The security and stability pushes us to open the doors of investment by diversifying the annual revenues."

    Al-Alaq added: "Our country is witnessing a regional and international movement for construction, reconstruction and investment because of its natural resources."

    He explained: The Central Bank of Iraq is working on financial stability, and its initiatives to finance economic activities since 2015 amounted to 13 trillion dinars.

    And Al-Alaq stated: "Electronic payment enhances financial inclusion in our country in partnership with international expertise and with direct support from the World Bank and other international bodies to improve revenues, justice, and financial and economic stability."

    He continued: "We are working on achieving advanced policies to ensure the implementation of processes to protect systems and user data by adopting modern frameworks. We seek to achieve an integrated system through private and public financial institutions to prevent monopoly. We look forward to joint business partnerships for electronic payment and are committed to full support to achieve an advanced electronic payment system that promotes growth and sustainable development." Al-Alaq announced: "Work is now on establishing a Riyada Bank for Social Development to support youth, to be the first bank in Iraq to take care of vulnerable groups and owners of small projects and to support women. "



    He added: "We are working on establishing a loan-granting company and preparing a national strategy for bank lending, and we will launch the Finance and Business Center in Baghdad as an integrated financial city. The issue is in order to reach tangible results. /End 3[/rtl]

    {Economic: Al Furat News} The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, announced today, Saturday, the establishment of the Riyada Bank for Social Development, and the new bank will work to support the segments of Iraqi society
    On the sidelines of the opening of the annual Iraqi banking conference organized by the Association of Private Banks, the governor said, "The initiatives of the Central Bank of Iraq are the largest in the history of Iraq," revealing "the completion of new projects, including the establishment of the Riyada Bank for Social Development in line with the vision and initiative of the Prime Minister in the project." Government (Riyada) to support youth.
    And he stressed that "the bank will be the first in Iraq to care for low-income people through soft loans and simple guarantees in support of the vulnerable segments, and to diversify the non-oil economy through small and micro projects to activate the private sector and reduce unemployment and poverty rates," noting that "the Central Bank of Iraq has put the final touches to prepare a strategy National Bank Lending.
    And the governor noted, "The Central Bank of Iraq will launch a project to establish a center for money and business, and it will serve as an integrated city that includes the stock market, the business sector, and financial institutions."
    He explained, "The Central Bank is working to achieve an integrated structure, rules, and sustainable policies to overcome technical challenges, information security, and cybersecurity, and implement security and privacy measures to protect users and the public's information."
    The governors of the central banks, both Jordanian and Palestinian, participated in this conference, and a large presence of the Iraqi banking sector, in addition to dialogue sessions that talked about the directions of the Central Bank of Iraq in banking reform and development, in which the directors of the bank’s departments participated.

    Today, Saturday, the Central Bank announced the start of establishing a Riyada Bank for Social Development to support youth and owners of small and medium enterprises.


    Bank Governor Ali Al-Alaq said, in a speech during the annual Iraqi banking conference, followed by NRT Arabia, that "within the framework of the Central Bank's endeavor to support the Iraqi economy and the private sector and stimulate the banking sector, we are Currently working on the completion of new projects, including: 


    First: Establishing a Riyada Bank for Social Development in line with the government's directives and the Prime Minister's directives to support youth and owners of small and medium enterprises.


    Second: The Prime Minister's launch of the Riyada initiative for development and employment, and this will be the first source in Iraq that cares about vulnerable groups, especially those with limited income, women and owners of small and micro projects, as well as owners of innovation and entrepreneurship, granting them soft loans and simple guarantees because of their great impact in reducing unemployment and poverty rates. .


    He added, "The Prime Minister launched a while ago his initiative to support youth, which is a pioneering initiative for development and employment," calling on banks to "contribute to the establishment of a pioneering bank for social development because of its social and economic dimensions, and its contribution to increasing the percentage of the non-oil economy.”


    And Al-Alaq pointed out that "the Central Bank will provide the necessary support for the establishment of this bank in terms of organization, financing and transfer in lending small projects that we started since 2015 to this bank, and this will give the bank a strong start by providing this financing from the Central Bank.”
