    A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Representative Youssef Al-Kalabi, responded to the region's statements regarding the budget, indicating that it "mostly avoided the truth," stressing that "we are continuing to prevent any party that tries to delay the budget and delay the government's work in achieving people's service and entitlements." .

    Al-Kalabi said in a press statement that, “We have seen the statements of the respected President of the Kurdistan Region, the Prime Minister of the region and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and here we feel deeply saddened by the statements contained therein, which mostly sidestepped the truth."

    He added, "Since the proposal of the articles was from the majority of the Finance Committee and was supported by important parties in the region, the committee was present with all its members and in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council. "

    He continued, "And those who protested are only two members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, although the proposal guarantees the arrival of funds to the Iraqi people in the region, as well as correcting matters in accordance with the agreement concluded between the region and the federal government that we support, stand behind and work for its success.

    And he added, "These provocative statements that are far from reality will increase the complications of the scene, especially what was issued today by the second deputy in an attempt to stop the committee's work under flimsy pretexts through an illegal and illogical proposal, and this supports the unjustified hostility of some members of the Democratic Party." .

    And he continued, "We affirm that we are continuing to prevent any party that attempts to delay the budget and delay the government's work in achieving service to people and their entitlements."[/rtl]
