Today, Sunday, the General Traffic Directorate announced the imminent launch of the plate unification project, while noting that there was no interruption in the system.
The director of relations and media in the directorate, Brigadier Ziyad Al-Qaisi, told the official news agency, "Under the direction of the Minister of Interior, the supervision of the Undersecretary for Police Affairs, and field follow-up from the Director of General Traffic, the directorate is striving to revitalize and modernize the traffic system in accordance with modern global regulations."
Al-Qaisi added, "The unified traffic signs project will soon see the light, and all signs will become unified from north to south."
