    Today, Sunday, May 28, 2023, the President of the Republic, Dr. Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, received at the Baghdad Palace the delegation of the Jihad and Construction Movement, headed by the Movement’s Secretary-General, Jawad Rahim Qassem.
    During the meeting, the President of the Republic stressed the importance of joint cooperation between the spectrum of Iraqi society to enhance security and stability and provide the best services to citizens, pointing to the need to work in a spirit of one team and resolve issues and issues between Iraqi political parties in accordance with the constitution and the law, and give priority to the language of dialogue in this regard. 
    In this context, the President of the Republic referred to the importance of improving the living and service conditions of citizens through the establishment of strategic projects, rehabilitation of basic infrastructure, activating the role of the private sector and creating job opportunities for youth.
    The President of the Republic noted the common history of fighting dictatorship and the struggle to achieve freedom for our people. The President of the Republic also talked about relations with neighboring countries, and Iraq's tendency to build balanced relations with all countries according to common interests, indicating the pivotal role of Iraq in the region and its distinguished geographical location.
    For their part, the members of the delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic for the warm reception, and his support for the consolidation of security and stability, stressing their support for the proposals of the President of the Republic and his role in consolidating cooperation among all, improving the conditions of citizens, and addressing outstanding issues and ways to solve them.
