    Today, Monday, the President of the Republic, Abdel Latif Jamal Rashid, discussed with the Minister of Electricity, Ali Ziyad Fadel, ways to raise the level of electric energy production and increase the hours of supplying electricity during the summer season.
    The media office of the President of the Republic stated, during a statement received by (Baghdad Today), that "President Rashid received today, at the Baghdad Palace, the Minister of Electricity, Ali Ziyad Fadel. During the meeting, they discussed ways to raise the level of electric energy production and mechanisms for its distribution, and increase the hours of supplying electricity during the summer season."
    The statement added, "The president stressed the importance of overcoming obstacles in order to meet the needs of citizens throughout the country, stressing the need to work to strengthen the economic infrastructure, especially in the field of energy, by benefiting from its various sources of production."
    The statement indicated, "The president indicated that Iraq is blessed with excellent capabilities, skills, and wealth through which it can rely on itself in the production of electricity, provided that those resources are well exploited."
    For his part, the Minister of Electricity expressed his thanks for the efforts of the President of the Republic in overcoming the obstacles facing the work of the Ministry of Electricity and supporting it in the way of implementing its plans to develop the energy sector in the country, stressing the Ministry's intention to benefit from the experiences of developed countries in this field, and to strengthen cooperation with them and implement joint projects that achieve their ambitions. Iraqis in the permanent stability of electric power.
