The Parliamentary Finance Committee decided to adjourn its meetings until the blocs end their differences regarding articles related to the Kurdistan region, while deputies stress the need to reach a satisfactory agreement for all parties.

Until next Saturday, the Finance Committee adjourns its meeting and gives the blocs an opportunity to resolve their differences that hindered the approval of the budget, as the legislative house is waiting to end the political negotiations and reach an agreement that satisfies all the conflicting parties over the budget items, most notably those related to the region.

The ball is in the parliament’s court, and victory is for the parliamentary majority. This approach will be the last possibility in the event that the blocs fail to reach an agreement that ends the differences and is fair to all governorates. Otherwise, there will be a position for the parliamentary forces in the voting session on the budget, according to deputies.
