     Information/Baghdad..
Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein expressed, on Sunday, his support for restoring Syria to its normal position in the Arab League, noting that Iraq raises in all its international meetings the suffering of the Syrian people.
Hussein said in a press conference he held with his counterpart Faisal Al-Miqdad in Baghdad, followed by Al-Maalouma, that "we discuss in all our international meetings the suffering of the Syrian people, and we are happy that Damascus will return to the Arab League.”
He added, "Iraq and Syria have common fateful relations, and the security situation in Syria reflects directly on Iraq."
He pointed out that "relations with Syria are deep, and our position is firm in supporting the Syrian people, and we are continuing discussions on the Syrian situation within the five-year framework, which includes Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt." .” End25
