    Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq's sales of the US dollar hard currency auction during last May amounted to more than 5 billion dollars.
    Shafaq News agency reporter stated that the Central Bank sold during the month of May, in the days when it opened its auction for buying and selling US dollars, 5 billion, 320 million, 132 thousand, 643 dollars, with an average of 241 million 824 thousand and 211 dollars, up by 19% from the previous month. It was preceded by an average of 203 million 315 thousand and 130 dollars, up by 20% over the same period last year 2022.



    Our correspondent added that sales of foreign remittances amounted during the past month to 4,327,174,174,211 dollars, an increase of 77% compared to cash sales, which amounted to 993,650,000 dollars.
    Our correspondent indicated that these sales were distributed between remittances abroad to finance foreign trade, and between cash sales to banks, while the selling price of documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards reached 1305 dinars per dollar, while the selling price of remittances abroad and the cash sale price reached 1310 dinars per dollar. dollar.
