    And while the Ministry of Commerce is looking forward to marketing and obtaining about 4 million tons of wheat to be purchased from farmers in various Iraqi governorates, as well as importing wheat from abroad for the purpose of filling the deficit or mixing wheat with each other for the purpose of improving local wheat, the state fears an important issue represented by smugglers bringing in Non-local wheat, that is, imported or imported through smuggling from neighboring countries, to be sold to the state as local wheat.
    The profit in this case is represented by the size of the price difference between imported or smuggled wheat and the price at which the state buys local wheat, as the state buys wheat grown in Iraq from farmers at a subsidized price of 850,000 dinars per ton, which is equivalent to about $645 per ton. The price of wheat imported from abroad does not exceed $500 with the cost of shipping, which means that whoever imports wheat and sells it to the international community as local wheat will earn more than $140 per ton.
    On the other hand, a suspicious operation took place in the silo of Khan Dhari Babu Ghraib, and it was seized by the Integrity Commission, and it seems that it was a “fraud of another kind”, not only buying wheat from abroad and selling it to the state as local wheat, but rather a theft of wheat imported from the silo, and perhaps an attempt To be resold to the state again.
    The Commission of Integrity stated in a statement that it was able to thwart an attempt to smuggle quantities of Australian wheat from one of the domes belonging to the Khan Dhari silo outside the silo, noting that it was carried out according to a judicial note, which stated that a team from the Commission’s Investigation Directorate in Baghdad was composed; To investigate information about an attempt to steal quantities of Australian wheat, which are located in one of the storage vaults in Silo Khan Dhari of the General Company for Grain Trade affiliated to the Ministry of Commerce, with the cooperation and complicity of a number of company officials.
    And the department added that the team that began conducting investigations, investigations and audits by moving to the silo of Khan Dhari in Abu Ghraib and its calculator unit and moving to the field to the place where the Australian wheat was stored, and seeking clarification from the director of the silo, the keepers of the storage domes and the control operators responsible for processing the quantities of wheat and the laboratory official, reached This indicates that there are quantities of Australian wheat that are not recorded in the records, by manipulating the mixing of the percentage of Australian wheat in the silo.
    She added that the Directorate's team, based on the order of the judge of the Second Karkh Investigation Court; He was able to seize Australian wheat, amounting to (1438,568) thousand four hundred and thirty-eight tons, and five hundred and sixty-eight thousand kilograms in the silo of Khan Dari, and guard it and not dispose of it except by a judicial decision.
    She added that the investigations and preliminary investigations indicate that the quantities recorded in the company's calculator and warehouse records differ from what is in reality and the actual quantity present, pointing out that an attempt was made to steal quantities of wheat by mixing Australian wheat at a rate not exceeding (20%), however, the officially determined quantities are Its percentage is (70%), red wheat is (20%), while local wheat is (10%).
    Looking at this amount, if it was stolen and resold to the state again at a price of 850 thousand dinars per ton, it would lead to profits amounting to more than one billion and 200 million Iraqi dinars.
