    {Economic: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Electricity revealed today, Wednesday, the Iranian money for the gas supplier that is in the Trade Bank of Iraq.

    The ministry's spokesman, Ahmed al-Abadi, told Al-Furat News that: "Iraq has paid all the financial dues for the gas supplied from Iran, and there is no money owed by the ministry, and the money is in the credit fund of the Commercial Bank of Iraq."
    He pointed out that "the US sanctions imposed on Iran make it difficult for this money to reach the Iranian side," stressing "the Prime Minister's directive to the government effort and the diplomatic corps to exert efforts to overcome obstacles with the Iranian side."
    Al-Abadi added, "We have witnessed a partial rise in Iranian gas releases during the past days, which reflected positively on processing hours."
    Yesterday, Saturday, the advisor to the Prime Minister, Diaa al-Nasseri, announced the total Iranian funds that Iraq launched during the current government to improve the country's electric power.
    Al-Nasiri said, in a tweet on Twitter, that: "The total Iranian money released by Iraq during the current government so far is about 1.5 billion euros, in addition to 1 billion euros being released. In return, citizens will witness a gradual improvement in electricity."
