Shafaq News/ The Parliamentary Finance Committee has decided, in the negative, the reality of the news circulating about an increase in the salary scale in the federal budget and the fate of the salary scale.
Committee member Mueen Al-Kadhimi told Shafaq News agency that the 2023 budget does not include any salary increases, and it will remain the same, while he indicated that the salary increase after 2023 depends on the government's decision and procedures.

Regarding the fate of the rolling salary scale, Al-Kazemi explained, "The competent committee in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers submitted a proposal for the salary scale to the Parliamentary Finance Committee, and it was not presented in the budget."
And the Iraqi parliament voted on the financial budget for three years. 2023, 2024 and 2025, with a value of 197 trillion and 828 billion Iraqi dinars (152.2 billion dollars), with a total deficit of 63 trillion dinars (48.3 billion dollars).
