The Legal Committee stated that the general amnesty law will pass if it comes from the government, noting that it will not include all groups in prisons, but rather include innocent people who confessed under torture, or those arrested according to secret informant reports and those imprisoned without trial, while it will not include terrorists and those who are imprisoned. Their hands are stained with blood

Committee member Eman Abdel-Razzaq said, in an interview with "Al-Sabah": "The general amnesty law is one of the important laws and witnesses different political opinions, but there is a segment of prisoners who have been treacherously imprisoned through a secret informant. This law must include them, as for those whose hands are stained." With blood, they should not be pardoned.”
Abd al-Razzaq added, "This law, even if it is legislated, will not include all segments, but it will include those imprisoned through the secret informant and the tortured, and those who have not been tried, for these must have a solution through the general amnesty law," indicating that "the law is currently with the government and is subject to consensus." Like most laws in Iraq, even the abolition of the decisions of the Revolutionary Command Council included the political aspect.
And she added, "The law is still among the political agreements, but this does not mean that it goes on to include all segments and issues in prisons," explaining that "the law must be legislated because there are many oppressed people in prisons, and they also constitute a financial burden on the government, and there are those who have been waived." They must be released."
