Reconstruction: Creating a number of municipalities in three governorates

{Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works announced the establishment of a number of municipalities in three governorates.
A spokesman for the ministry, Istabraq Sabah, told {Euphrates News} agency: "A number of municipalities were created in the governorates of Najaf, Baghdad and Diwaniyah, and procedures for transferring ownership of new cities whose designs were approved to municipal institutions were completed according to Law No. 3 of 1960 on property ownership of land."
He added that "approvals have been completed for the rest of the regulatory procedures."
Sabah pointed out that "the first phase of the work in which the city of Al-Jawahiri in Abu Ghraib, the banks of Karbala in Karbala, Fallujah in Anbar, Al-Janaen in Babel, and Al-Ghazali in Nineveh were announced as investment opportunities for the purpose of presenting companies specialized in real estate development."
