The President of the Republic, Dr. Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, received, in Baghdad, the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi.
During the meeting, they discussed developments in the political, security and economic situation on the Iraqi and regional arenas, emphasizing the improvement of services provided to citizens, and the implementation of infrastructure projects, especially after the approval of the general budget law.
The meeting also discussed the mechanisms of coordination between the Presidency of the Republic and the House of Representatives in presenting and approving legislation that affects the lives of citizens, as well as preparations for holding provincial elections on time and ensuring their integrity and transparency.
