The AFC honored the head of the Iraqi Athletics Federation, Talib Faisal Al-Saffar, with the golden badge for choosing him as the best administrative sports leader who led and served the sport of athletics in the Asian continent during his sports career.
The honor came during the meeting of the Asian General Assembly (Congress) on the sidelines of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the Asian Athletics Federation, which was held in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
This achievement is added to the series of achievements achieved by the president of the federation with the rest of his fellow members of the federation in making the Iraqi athletics work a success and achieving sporting achievements with the arms and feet of the heroic athletes and coaches.
And Faisal was honored years ago by the International Federation with the same badge. End/ 25 LL
