Parliamentary Integrity: Important Laws Collide with Political Agreements

According to the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, many important laws, such as the "Where did you get this from?" It is subject to political agreements, indicating that there are many laws on its table during this season, including the "Financial Control" law and the "Integrity Commission" law.
A member of the committee, Hamid al-Shablawi, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah": "All important and serious laws that serve the country depend on the large political blocs that control the source of the decision, as it is often the same as what they want to legislate, and among these laws (where did you get this from?) ".
And he continued: "This law is in the corridors of the Integrity Committee, and we hope with the start of the current second legislative term that it will be included in the agenda of the Council," noting that "there are other laws in the corridors of the committee, including the Financial Control Law and the Integrity Commission Law, and a number of laws that pertain to Money smuggled out of Iraq and its recovery and other laws.
Regarding the recovery of smuggled funds, Al-Shiblawy stated, "The committee is cooperating with the Prime Minister on the issue of recovering smuggled funds through the legislation and implementation of the money recovery law."
