A member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Representative Karim Abu Soda, confirmed on Wednesday that the conscription law will be presented in the corridors of the House of Representatives in the next semester.

Abu Souda said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, "The House of Representatives has two legislative chapters, and many laws will be presented during them, through the first and second reading, then voting. The flag law, referring to the compulsory military law , will also be presented after political consensus."
He added, "The law is important and contains points that support the youth, and that discussions will take some time before agreeing on its provisions," noting that "the introduction and implementation of the law is subject to consensus."
He pointed out that "the coming period will witness tireless work in order to resolve many important laws in the file of security, economy and government institutions."
The recruitment law is one of the controversial laws due to the differences in visions regarding it due to its multiple points.
