Al-Baldawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, "The foreign minister's visit yesterday resulted in an agreement to form technical delegations between the two countries to demarcate the borders to end and resolve old and new problems."
He added, "The Planning Committee conducted, during the past week, several workshops for experts and specialists in border demarcation, and it came out that there was a great injustice that befell Iraq by UN Security Council Resolution 833," noting that "the decisions were taken when Iraq was under Chapter VII, as it was disqualified."
Al-Baldawi called on "the government to name the negotiating delegation with the Kuwaiti side of specialized experts," stressing that "Iraq possesses the identification and historical papers to establish its rights in Khawr Abdullah." End / 25 pm
