    The Parliamentary Finance Committee ruled out the return of the old retirement age at least during the next three years due to the approval of the tripartite budget, indicating that despite the proposals submitted by some committees, the retirement age at the age of 60 will remain the current one.

    Committee member Moeen Al-Kazemi said that the retirement age law, which was previously amended from the age of 63 to 60 years, was aimed at absorbing and attracting young energies and finding job opportunities, noting that determining this age wasted important expertise in the medical, engineering, judicial and university professors.
