    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:[/rtl]
    [rtl]The President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Rashid, and the Council of Ministers, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, discussed the political, security, economic and environmental conditions.[/rtl]
    [rtl]A statement by the Presidency of the Republic stated, "The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received, in Baghdad, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani."[/rtl]
    [rtl]The statement added, "During the meeting, the political, security, economic and environmental conditions in the country were discussed, and the need to support the government's efforts in implementing its program was emphasized in accordance with the priorities for consolidating security and stability and meeting the needs of citizens in a way that achieves sustainable development.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]He continued, "The preparations for holding provincial elections at the end of this year were also discussed, and the importance of Iraqi participation in this democratic practice, and work to ensure its transparency and integrity."[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Presidents of the Republic and the Council of Ministers discussed "border security, where emphasis was placed on preventing transgressions on Iraqi lands and national sovereignty, in addition to the water crisis in the country and its repercussions on the lives of citizens."[/rtl]
    [rtl]According to the statement, "the meeting reviewed the latest developments and developments at the regional and international levels and Iraq's role in converging views and enhancing security and peace among the countries of the region."[/rtl]
