The Security and Defense Committee in the House of Representatives warned of the continuation of clan conflicts, describing it as a "dangerous alarm" that threatens the unity of Iraqi society.
A member of the committee, Muhammad Rasool Al-Rumaithi, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah": "There are meetings between the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the committee to develop a plan in coordination with the security services aimed at speeding up action to end clan conflicts because it represents a danger alarm that threatens the unity of Iraqi society and contributes to deepening the division." internal".
Al-Rumaithi added, "The armed conflicts taking place in most of the central and southern governorates require the Ministries of Defense and Interior to intervene and not tolerate the instigators of disputes and conflicts, in addition to executing the arrest warrants issued against those wanted for justice without hesitation."
For his part, a member of the Committee for Establishing Peace between Clans, Abd al-Hadi Mohan al-Saadawi, stated that the committee is intensifying its efforts to resolve many conflicts in the governorates of Dhi Qar, Basra and Maysan.
