A member of the committee, Bassem Al-Gharabi, said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, "The control of medicines belongs to the Ministry of Health, as well as the Pharmacists Syndicate," pointing out that "there must be an understanding and harmony between the Ministry and the Pharmacists Syndicate."
He added that "both sides have a law that talks about controlling unpriced, smuggled and unexamined drugs."
Al-Gharabi continued, "It was stressed on more than one occasion that the control and preventive measures should be tightened, and violators should be held accountable."
He pointed out that "the Parliamentary Health Committee is the oversight body over the executive authority, especially the Ministry of Health."
He pointed out that "the committee started negotiations in order to legislate the supporting laws and research on drug pricing."
The Parliamentary Health Committee, MP, earlier revealed 4 measures to combat fake pharmacies in the country. End / 25 h
