Shafaq News/ The Central Bank’s sales rose at an auction, today, Tuesday, to more than 200 million dollars.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent stated, “Today during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, the Central Bank sold 219 million 107 thousand and 561 dollars, which the bank covered at a base exchange rate of 1,305 dinars, per dollar for documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards, and at a price of 1,310 dinars per dollar for remittances.” Foreign affairs at a price of 1310 dinars per dollar in cash.
Our correspondent added that most of the bank's dollar sales went to strengthen the balances abroad in the form of (transfers, credits), which amounted to 180 million, 857 thousand and 561 dollars, while the rest, amounting to 38 million and 250 thousand dollars, went.
Our correspondent pointed out that the number of banks that bought cash dollars reached 11 banks, while the number of banks that responded to requests to enhance balances abroad reached 17 banks, while the total number of exchange and brokerage companies participating in the auction was 123 companies.
