The Supreme Commission for Coordination between governorates that are not organized into a region has established some procedures in order to solve problems that may arise between governorates on the one hand, or between ministries and governorates on the other hand.
The head of the authority, Ahmed Al-Fatlawi, told “Al-Sabah”: These problems are related to the conflict over powers, specializations, or matters related to the decision-making authority, noting the addition of procedures in the government curriculum and following up on its implementation, as the authority formed a team to follow up on the governorates’ implementation of what was stated in the program as a basic word. One of the general policy components of the federal government.
He pointed out that the Authority is following up on the evaluation of heads of administrative units after the Prime Minister approved the standards and mechanism for this subject, stressing that it is now in the process of approving and implementing them.
Al-Fatlawi pointed out that the Authority follows up on the implementation of projects from the governorates’ budgets, whether developing regions, petrodollars, poverty alleviation projects, etc., in addition to having a monthly position that is discussed through the governorates’ follow-ups and procedures in this regard.
He revealed that there is a monthly review in the meeting of the Coordinating Body for projects that are lagging or of a strategic nature, as he follows up on resolving problems if they relate to disbursing advances, approvals from other parties, or resolving conflicts, indicating that if the issue requires guidance or adding an allocation or other, some decisions are taken. Which solves problems and helps governorates fulfill their burdens.
Al-Fatlawi warned that the Authority will follow up on the seriousness of investors from the beginning of their acquisition of the project and its implementation regarding projects whose permits are issued through the investment authorities in the governorates, adding that when any reluctance or delay occurs from some parties in the necessary approvals or raising certain objections or other matters, a monthly position will be issued. about this.
