A member of the State of Law coalition, Saad Al-Muttalabi, confirmed that Al-Kadhimi moves between countries and it is not known whether he is present or stable in a particular country, pointing out that the Iraqi judiciary has issued a summons warrant against this person regarding a case related to murder.
Al-Muttalabi told Al-Maalouma, “Former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi has been issued a summons order by the Iraqi judiciary in a case related to the killing of two people, and the case has been referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to bring him in from abroad.”
He added, "The issue of bringing Al-Kadhimi to Iraq was rejected by him on the pretext that he is a British citizen and possesses British citizenship, and therefore the recruitment warrant is now with the British embassy."
He stated, "Al-Kadhimi moves between more than one country, and there is no confirmed information about his presence in a specific country in order to be brought in and placed before the Iraqi judiciary regarding the murder case filed against him." End 25N 23:51
