[size=45]The First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Alia Nassif, called on the Integrity and Public Prosecution Authority to open an investigation into the Musataha contract concluded between the Federation of Trade Unions in Basra and one of the companies.[/size]
[size=45]She said in a statement today: “The Federation of Trade Unions in Basra had previously concluded a Musataha contract with (Dar Al-Zein) Company for land belonging to the Federation on which there was a five-story building. Then the Federation suddenly canceled the contract and demanded that the banks not grant the contracting company any loans because the contract... “There are suspicions of financial and administrative corruption.”[/size]
[size=45]Nassif continued: “We hope that the relevant regulatory authorities will open an investigation into this file to determine the truth about the corruption present in it and refer the corrupt people to the competent courts.”[/size]
