    The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs launched an expanded campaign to include child beggars with protection stipends and monitor begging mafias in city centers, while it prepared a plan to support homeless girls, build their capabilities, rehabilitate them, and integrate them into society in coordination with international organizations.  
    The head of the Ministry’s Authority for People with Disabilities and Special Needs, Dhikra Abdel Rahim, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah” followed by “Al-Iqtisad News” that the Minister of Labor, Ahmed Al-Asadi, instructed the launch of an expanded campaign that includes all governorates in coordination with the Ministry of Interior for the purpose of monitoring begging networks in city centers and counting them for the purpose of Including begging children and their families with social protection benefits.
    She pointed out that the Ministry seeks to reduce this negative phenomenon of exploitation of children by mafias for begging and vagrancy. Abdel Rahim added that the Commission discussed with a delegation from the International Organization and the United Nations Population Fund the preparation of a plan for joint cooperation to support displaced girls by building their capabilities and qualifying them for natural integration into society, in light of the expanding cases of homelessness among this group, noting that the Commission’s doors are open to all organizations. Local and international civil society for the purpose of developing work and providing quality services in accordance with the controls applicable to their social, cultural and psychological reality.
