    Security expert, retired Brigadier General Adnan Al-Kanani, confirmed on Monday that maintaining sovereignty and not crossing the borders or penetrating the airspace depends on diplomatic efforts and work before the military, pointing out the presence of weak states in the region and their sovereignty is preserved due to the diplomatic factor.

    Al-Kinani told Al-Maalouma, "There is an urgent need to strengthen the military units and their defenses properly, as there must be a reading of the surrounding countries that could affect the security of Iraq, in addition to knowing the size of their armament." 
    He added, "Iraq's armament must be the same as the armament of the countries of the region, in order to confront any encroachment on its borders, and to ensure the preservation of sovereignty and not encroachment on it or the country's atmosphere." 
    He stated that "Kuwait, Jordan, the Emirates and other countries are considered weak countries, but their sovereignty is preserved, and this matter requires diplomatic efforts to prevent any transgression of the borders and airspace away from military means." Ended 25 n
