On Monday, President Abdel Latif Gamal Rashid received the credentials of the ambassadors of Tunisia, Shukri Latif, Palestine, Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Ruwaidi, Germany, Christina Constanza Homann, and Canada, Kani Bonka.
Rashid said in a statement received by Al-Maalouma, during a meeting with the ambassadors separately, that “Iraq looks forward to strengthening its relations with their countries on the basis of mutual interests in various fields of common interest, especially diplomacy, economics, and culture, and cooperation and coordination to establish security and stability in the region and the world.”
The President expressed his "wishes to the ambassadors for success in carrying out their work, and the support of the Presidency for them in everything that would facilitate their tasks in developing joint bilateral relations."
For their part, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the leaders of their countries, and their wishes to the Iraqi people for continued progress and prosperity, stressing “their country’s support for the security and stability of Iraq, the safety of its people, and the establishment of the best bilateral relations.” Ended / 25 hours
