    A member of the advanced cadre of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ghayath Al-Sourji, confirmed on Tuesday that Turkey has pretexts to bomb Sulaymaniyah and civilians in this city, denying that there are any relations linking the Patriotic Union with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party.

    Al-Sourji told Al-Maalouma, “The National Union does not have any relations with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, and on the contrary, the Union has good relations with the Syrian Democratic Forces and some Iranian Kurdish parties.”
    He added, "The National Union, although it does not have any relations with the Kurdistan Workers' Party, does not consider this party a terrorist," pointing out that "most of the members of this party are present in the headquarters, barracks, and tunnels in the governorates of Erbil and Dohuk."
    He stated that "Turkey is providing pretexts for its bombing of Sulaymaniyah Governorate in an attempt to occupy part of Iraq, especially Mosul, and to target civilians in the Sulaymaniyah and Halabja regions, which are areas of influence of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan."
    Al-Sourji pointed out, "Turkey used the presence of the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces at Arbat Airport as an excuse and worked to target him in the past days, while there was a ban on Sulaymaniyah Airport." Ended 25 n
