    {Economic: Al-Furat News} An advisor to Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani revealed Iraq’s current production of crude oil.
    Falah Al-Amiri, former president of SOMO and the current advisor to the Prime Minister, said during the second session of the Middle East Forum {MERI} activities in Erbil, which was held under the title “Energy Priorities in Iraq: Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Sources,” that “Iraq produces 4 million and 320 thousand barrels.” of oil daily.
     
    He also pointed out that “Iraq has reduced gas emissions by 58% since 2017, explaining that the Ministry of Oil has established a mechanism to invest gas.”
     
    Al-Amiri stated that “Iraq uses 200,000 barrels to produce electricity.”
